?
I don't know what to blog about? ??? I hope Logan sleeps well tonight. I hope he has sweet dreams in which his teeth feel good. I hope he is easily soothed back to sleep if he does wake up. I'm tired. Good night.

Don't Spit Food at Dad
Logan has this endearing habit. He likes to blow raspberries when he is getting fed rice cereal. We've tried to discourage the habit, but sometimes it's so funny that we can't help but laugh at the silly boy. Logan knows that we have mixed emotions about it so he continues to purse those little lips on occasion when he is getting fed. Today, I decided to put some orange juice into his rice cereal instead of the normal apple or banana. He didn't seem too keen on it at first, but eventually he ate a few spoonfuls. And then, he decided he didn't want anymore. That's when he blew out a big mouthful and spat it all on his father, coating my pants, shirt, and face with a slurry of rice cereal, formula, and orange juice. I didn't find it very funny this time. I told him "no" sternly, and he pursed his little lip. Did he stop spitting his food at me? No. But Daddy soon wised up and just stopped feeding him.

"Take That Table Downstairs NOW!"
Seconds ago Logan did a major header, falling backwards into our metal and glass table. A very loud "thunk" reverberated through the living room as his head contacted the metal leg. He cried for all of 15 seconds, but it scared the crap out of Carly and I...perhaps even more so than the virus I had the other day. Anyway, we put some frozen vegetables on the back of his head, but he doesn't seem affected in the least.
While getting the vegetables out of the freezer, Carly yells at me and repeats, "take that table downstairs now." I had mentioned that we should get rid of it, but she wasn't sure that she wanted to get rid of it since it's our only table up here. Now she is positive she wants it downstairs, and I agree. Where are we going to do all our computer business now?

Better and Worse
I feel much better today. The morning was a bit shaky, and last night I didn't sleep well, but I felt good enough to put in a wood floor in the basement. My parents are getting new floors and I was lucky enough to get their old hand-me-down floor. It looks pretty good I do have to say.
Carly on the other hand is getting what I had, we think. She started to feel not so good at lunch at work and is now plopped on the couch under a blanket. I feel her pain.
Logan is pretty much status quo. He seems happy but still has the nasty poops. What he lacked in blow-outs today he made up for in frequency. I think I changed at least 10 diapers today. The stuff is so potent smelling that the slightest amount in his diaper is horrific. I took him to the pediatrician just in case, and she wasn't worried...told me to follow the b.r.a.t. diet...bananas, rice, apples, and something that starts with a "t". He ate a little better today and seems fine, although he hated when I used the table saw for cutting some of the flooring. I don't blame him, that thing is noisy.
Finally, I received some bad news today related to my family. My 20-something cousin is in the hospital for unknown reasons; it may be lymphoma or leukemia; let's hope it is something different.

Uuugggghhhhh!
Daddy is sick. Whatever virus Logan has, I have with a vengeance. There's nothing better on a Tuesday evening than puking in the shower and sitting on the toilet for the 12th time. Hopefully this passes with a good night's sleep. G'night.
